My paintings are a direct reflection of my thoughts, feelings and philosophical reflections. This is my way of exploring the inner landscapes of humans, and my perspective therein as a woman – the layers we rarely show, but which are always present beneath the surface.
A visual representation of how we as humans often feel divided in our thoughts, feelings and roles. The duality that is part of our lives: light and dark, joy and pain, the inner and the outer. The fragmentation is not only an aesthetic choice, but also a way of expressing the human complexity that fascinates me.
Painting is my way of connecting the personal with the universal in a world that is constantly changing. Through my paintings, I want to invite the viewer to stop, reflect and recognize something of themselves.
Art has always been a way to express a language beyond words. When I first picked up a brush, I discovered not just a creative outlet, but a deeply therapeutic process that allowed me to explore emotions, perspectives, and dreams in unexpected ways.
I work primarily with oil paint, drawn to its richness, depth, and the way it allows me to layer and blend colors with emotion and intention.
My work is inspired by the female form, surrealism, and cubism, blending bold colors and abstract shapes to create pieces that challenge perception and invite introspection. Each painting is a journey. Of self-discovery, transformation, and emotion. Translated onto the canvas.
I believe art should evoke something personal in every viewer, whether it’s a sense of wonder, nostalgia, or a new way of seeing the world.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
